Usage analytics
Mossybook uses Mixpanel analytics to see which screens and features parents use, where setup gets stuck, and whether features work. Usage analytics are on by default.
We send specific actions, such as opening Calendar or saving a preference, with random account and family identifiers. When you are signed in, we also send your parent account name and email to Mixpanel on your profile and signed-in activity events so we can identify who used a feature. We do not send children’s names or identifiers, grades, school content, questions, search text, photos, documents, school passwords, payment details or private links. We do not record your screen.
You can turn usage analytics off here. Your account and school checks work with analytics off. This setting is saved to your account when you are signed in, and to this browser when you are signed out.
