How do Parents and Learn work together?
Parents gathers your child’s school information. Learn uses upcoming tests, available teacher materials and practice results to prepare focused study sessions. Both are included in your family’s Mossybook subscription. See family pricing.
Which schools does it work with?
Henrico County Public Schools. You connect your parent accounts for PowerSchool, Schoology and ParentSquare. Each needs its own username and password; signing in with Google, Microsoft or the district isn't supported.
What happens to my school passwords?
They're encrypted before they're stored and used only by the service that signs in to the school apps. They're never sent to AI or included in exports. Mossybook only reads the school apps; it never submits work or messages teachers. You can disconnect an app or delete your family's data at any time. How we handle your data
Who can see my family's information?
In the app, only you and the people you invite. Each family's records are kept separate from every other family's. They aren't hidden from everyone, though: Mossybook's operator can reach them to run the service, and the companies that host it, check your school accounts, send its email and provide its AI process them too.
Will it catch everything?
No. It reads what the three apps show a parent, including the newsletters and documents it can open, but it can't see what's said in class or papers sent home in a backpack. AI sorts the list and summarizes posts, and AI can make mistakes, so every item links to the school's original.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes. Invite another parent or caregiver by email. They sign in with their own account and get their own morning email.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes on your phone: create an account, add your children and sign in to the three school apps. The first check takes about an hour, and we'll email you when it's ready.
